Beyond Boundaries Collaborative District

Mission: The Beyond Boundaries Collaborative District creates welcoming environments that bring together individuals from all backgrounds to share experiences, foster mutual respect, and build meaningful connections. Through collaboration, education, and engagement with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners, we work to empower individuals to grow personally and professionally. The goal is to inspire all members of the Virginia Tech community to contribute positively to their interconnected global environment in the spirit of Ut Prosim (that I may serve) and in alignment with the Principles of Community.
Vision: A thriving, interconnected community where individuals are inspired to learn across differences, developing strong interpersonal skills to succeed in a global society.
We are reimagining student and faculty community spaces and services with the Beyond Boundaries Collaborative District. Rooted in Virginia Tech’s Beyond Boundaries strategic plan, as well as the Principles of Community and InclusiveVT, our five centers offer unique and tailored experiences that contribute to student success, faculty development, university advancement, and more.
We are having engagement sessions with key stakeholders and partners as we continue to reimagine our spaces. Check back here for updates.
